Hi, I'm Alisa! I'm a practicing RN in Columbia, South Carolina, and I have four furnished rooms I rent out of my home. When I worked as a travel nurse, the most stressful part was finding safe, clean, quiet, affordable, furnished housing with flexible lease terms. I was plagued by worries like:
"What if my contract gets cancelled after I sign a lease?"
"Is this a safe neighborhood?"
"I can't afford the furnished places, and I can't cart around furnishings every three months."
"How do I make sure it's not another scammer?"
"How do I set up utilities and internet for only three months?"
I am finally in a position to offer what I could never find, and I hope my home is the solution to your needs and worries whether you are a traveling nurse or otherwise.
The Process:
The Process:
Application - Fill out a free application for an initial screening to see if the property is a good fit.
Tour - Schedule an in-person or virtual tour. If in-person, text a picture of your driver's license beforehand. If you like the place, I will send you the lease to read through.
Background Check - If you want to move forward, I'll send a link for a $44.99 background check (criminal, credit, eviction) through KeyCheck.
Documents - After passing the background check, send: Picture of your driver’s license, Proof of income & employment, References
Lease - If qualified, I'll send the lease via DocuSign. Provide your full legal name, address, email, and dates you are renting for the lease.
Deposit - Pay a $500 deposit the day you sign the lease via cash, Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle. You'll receive a front door access code for the dates you are leasing when deposit is paid.
Rent - Pay rent on move-in day before you start moving in.
In-Person or Virtual Showings available: 8am–8pm, Monday through Thursday
